She sat on the porch
Lost in her childhood memories
Her beautiful face; her appealing eyes
All that had vanished with time…
She fairly remembers the day
The moment she wanted to escape
She could feel inside that veil
The infinite sufferings and pain
God had destined her life,
Beauty was no more her pride
She was sold for a petty amount
Beauty was no more her crown
With agony and pain buried inside
She has become oblivious with time;
Mirror now reflects her age
Her grace and beauty finds no place
Now, she is left alone
Searching her way in disgrace
Sitting with her naked body; pleading
“My soul is still pure”
“Listen, My soul is still pure”
lovely
